Here's What to Bring to the Dealership.

Use this checklist to ensure a seamless, "Thomas-Style" experience when you arrive for your new vehicle!
FOR MARYLAND RESIDENTS
Identification: A valid, plastic state-issued Driver's License.
Insurance: A valid insurance card. (Note: You will need to add the new vehicle to your policy before driving off the lot-our team can help you with this!)
Trade-In Paperwork:
Valid Trade Registration.
Original Trade Title. Important: If you are from a two-title state like Maryland, please ensure you have both documents.
Lien/Payoff information (if applicable).
Signatories: All parties on the contract and trade documents must be present at the time of signing.
Business Purchases: Same as above (Tax ID/EIN, Letter of Authorization, and Business Insurance).

OUT-OF-STATE RESIDENTS

Proof of Residency: Occasionally, a utility bill or bank statement is needed if your license address has recently changed.
Insurance: We will need to verify your out-of-state coverage meets the reciprocity requirements for the state where the vehicle is being purchased.
Trade-In Paperwork:
Valid Trade Registration.
Original Trade Title (if paid off).
Lien/Payoff information (if you still have a loan).
Signatories: Any person listed on the trade registration/title must be present with a valid ID to sign off.
Business Purchases: If titling in a business name, please bring your Tax ID/EIN, a Letter of Authorization on company letterhead, and your business auto insurance card.
